Saturday 15th November – River Avon Saltford to Newbridge

Avon County Rowing Club will be convening the Avon Autumn Head Race on Saturday 15th November. Whilst the finer details of the race order are still being finalized, essentially they will be boating from about 9am till about 1630 hrs. Boats will be transiting from the ACRC club pontoons, (at the Saltford Rowing Centre) up as far as the Newbridge, where they will queue up to start racing. In this Event, it will be the larger (less manoeuvrable) 4s and 8s that will be competing.
