Newton Park

Excellent fishing for carp to over 30lbs Pike, Roach, Silver Bream and eels are also present.

Some cracking carp fishing in quiet surroundings in the Bath Spa College grounds.

Dave Crookes Fishery at Hunstrete

Three superb lakes in beautiful surroundings and each lake unique, offering something for every angler.

Bridge Pool is available for hire to hold matches. Contact Mike Turner, Club Treasurer, for details and booking.

Box Brook

A high class spring fed limestone river, supporting an abundance of insect life with (usually) an amazing mayfly hatch and a thriving population of free rising wild trout.

River Avon

Bathampton A. A.’s river fisheries are full of fish of all types and sizes, and there is little more enjoyable than “trotting” a stick float through your swim, watch it disappear under the surface, strike and feel the satisfying thump of a good fish.

River Chew

Fishing is on right hand bank upstream from Compton Dando road bridge for two fields; approximately one mile.

Kennet & Avon Canal

Bathampton A. A. have the fishing rights from it’s starting point in Bath right through to Avoncliffe Aqueduct, which is a continuous stretch of approximately 8 miles.
