Notification from BAA Committee

Will members please note that for the time being guests are NOT permitted at Hunstrete.

A carer may accompany a member if needed.

This restriction is in place due to COVID-19 and will be rescinded when it is deemed safe to do so

Good afternoon all
As your all aware the summertime opening hours come into effect this weekend. We had quite a lot of complaints last year about angler's turning up early and making lots of noise outside of the gate at Hunstrete stood in the road talking, we know its impossible to turn up bang on time for opening so please if you do get there(10-15 minutes early) stay in your cars and turn off your engines. If we start getting complaints we may have to seriously think about changing the times back to later opening. Remember we are still in a lockdown and social distancing is still in effect we have been very privileged to be able to carry on fishing through this pandemic and the last thing we want is for calls to be made to the relevant authorities about anglers breaking rules.

Thank you hope you all have a good summer.

B.A.A Committee.

NO KEEPNETS IN ANY LAKES BETWEEN 12:00 - 14:00

On behalf of the Bathampton Angling Association I would like to thank the family of the late Terry Oswin of Oldland Common for their kind donation
of his fishing tackle.

Their kindness will help to ensure that others will continue to fish and possibly start fishing.

General Secretary Bathampton AA
